River View Centre
River View provides a Person Centred Service that individually meets the needs of people with mild through to severe organic cognitive impairment. We aim for an adaptable approach to improve the quality of life of all our service users through the active promotion of choice, opportunities and independence.
At River View we support the individual and the carer.
River View offers:
- transport to and from the centre
- home cooked meals and refreshments
- activities and entertainment
- day trips and special outings
- personal care.
To ensure high standards of care:
- our staff are regularly supervised and appropriately trained
- carers are supported by offering practical support, emotional support and reassurance
- a Carers Education Course twice a year
- monthly Carers meetings
- regular contact through our Carers Call Programme
