Residential Care with a Difference

Plymouth Age Concern aims to provide ‘housing with care’. We acknowledge that every resident in Patricia Venton House is unique and we understand that individuality is maintained through choice, opportunity and respect.

Patricia Venton House is a purpose-built Residential Care Home within our William and Patricia Venton Centre. We have 24 rooms within the home and we are currently registered for 25 people (including registration for a couple to share one of our large ‘premier rooms’).

Patricia Venton House provides:

  • Comfort, privacy & support, allowing you to live as independently as possible
  • Choice of a single room or a spacious ‘premier’ room
  • Own front door, letterbox and bell
  • En-suite bathroom
  • Kitchenette (complete with fridge and microwave)
  • Beautiful views over the river Plym or towards Dartmoor
  • Communal lounges & dining room where you can socialise
  • Well maintained landscaped gardens with summer house
  • Hairdressing Salon on site
  • Access to a wide range of entertainment and activities
  • Close to regular bus route into City Centre
  • 24 hour support available from experienced care staff
  • Liverpool Care Pathway has been fully implemented
  • Residents are funded by their local authority, or can pay privately
