Events Calendar

Plymouth Age Concern holds during the year many events. Some events, like our Skilled Hands Exhibition, have been held every year for nearly seventy years. Other events, like our Roadshows, have only just started in the past year. What ever your interest or what ever your need we hope that we have an event that is interesting to you.

Please keep reviewing these pages as our diary is consistently changing and added to regularly.

Age UK Plymouth on the road

We understand that not every person is able to visit one of our centres to gain support and advice. That is why we started our roadshows in which we come to a place near you. Running for over two years now, these hughly popular events attract many people. Please read our roadshow poster for this year's dates. If these dates and times are not suitable or you want to chat to a member of our Starting Point Team now, then please give us a call on 01752 825635 or 01752 318037.

Skilled Hands Exhibition 2012

Skilled Hands Exhibition 2012 will be held from the 8th to the 18th June, with the theme of "Special Events in 2012". With the 60th year of skilled hands occurring in 2012 along with other historic milestones and events such as the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the 70th birthday of Plymouth Age Concern and the Olympics, it seemed appropriate to theme the exhibition on special events in 2012. Exhibitors are not bound by these events as they have the opportunity to incorporate a special event in their own lives in their work if they wish.

The exhibition will be open to the public from Wednesday 13th to Saturday 16th June, inclusive. Cup presentations will be held on Monday 18th June.

More information will be published as it becomes available on our dedicated Skilled Hands 2012 webpage.
