Dementia Care Services
The River View Centre offers a range of specialist services for people with dementia giving respite and support for their carers. Our fully trained staff are experienced in the needs of people with cognitive impairment (such as dementia).
Short Breaks - The Day Care Service:
- Operates 7 days a week and offers an enjoyable day in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere
- Offers flexible day care hours to suit individual needs
- Includes a ‘twilight’ service from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Offers day respite for the carer
- Transport is available, including passenger assistants during travel where required
Short Breaks - Residential Respite Service
River View offers a six bedded respite unit for people with dementia to help meet carers needs during emergencies or when they want a short break from their caring role. The respite unit operates 365 days a year, including Christmas day.
River View Centre is registered with CQC:
