Carers Support

To help support carers of people with dementia Plymouth Age Concern holds regular carer support group meetings at our River View Centre on the last Thursday of every month.

Regular telephone support to carers is also offered by this service.

Carers Education

We offer a high quality twelve week course for carers of people with dementia (12 x ½ day weekly sessions), delivered by experienced practitioners and professionals. This comprehensive course covers information and advice on all aspects of caring for someone with dementia. Day respite provision and transport can be arranged for carers who would otherwise be unable to attend. Other courses for carers are also available.
